Our clients come in with the drugs flushed from their system, but they may not have completely finished the withdrawal process. It takes time for the body to adjust to its new chemistry. The withdrawal process is different for many different types of drugs. The clients who come through our clinic all have their own unique needs. Our staff tries to meet these needs as quickly as possible.

Detox is just the beginning.

The month it takes to go through the rehabilitation clinic is intensive. The intensive sessions and the schedule will take up most of the day of the clients. There are recreational facilities on the premise. The clients can use these facilities when they do not need to spend time in session, or spend time in individual counseling sessions. It takes some time to get through the sessions, but the clients will have comfortable rooms.

What’s After Detox?

Few people want to end up in a rehabilitation center, whether or not they are going through detox. They may need to be there, but it is a rough process especially in the beginning. A client must change his relationship with drugs. This does not happen overnight. The process only starts after detox. It does not even stop after the person gets out of the rehabilitation center. Our staff gives the client the tools he needs to prepare for new life. The staff will help the client understand how detox for the drug he became addicted to can start the beginning of a new life.

A Forever Recovery has the Detox Program you are looking for, take the time to call today.

It’s a proven fact that long-term rehabilitation programs are more successful than the short-term alternatives. Our inpatient treatment offers just that. Clients reside at our drug and alcohol-free facility while working on their sobriety.

Benefits of Addiction Treatment

Aside from overcoming their addiction and learning how to maintain a sober lifestyle, clients benefit in more ways than one from addiction treatment. After leaving inpatient substance abuse treatment, they are less likely to engage in illegal activities; they‘re more productive in school or at work. Their physical health is improved and relationships that were once damaged are now restored.

Addiction Treatment and the Recovery process.

Clients will face many challenges while going through the recovery process. During the initial detox process withdrawal symptoms may be severe, especially if the addiction is substantial. However, with the professional assistance that’s available, clients are not alone. They can always reach out to our qualified staff that supervises them, and is there for them 24/7. Deciding to sober up on your own and going to various meetings when you have the time, is difficult. The moment you get back home from a meeting, triggers can get the better of you and make you turn to your drug of choice. Inpatient addiction treatment takes you out of this destructive environment. You leave behind friends that are bad influences and don’t have to deal with everyday stress.

Addiction Treatment and Group Meetings

During substance abuse treatment, clients can talk about their struggles. They can attend group meetings and undergo family and individual counseling. Talking about issues that trigger their self-destructive behavior often helps the client heal. All this time they’ve used their drug of choice to suppress and numb these feelings, and during addiction treatment they’re forced to face them and deal with them.

The first step in recovery from addiction is for the addict to admit there is a problem and then actively pursue getting professional help. This is often difficult because many addicts are in denial about their addiction or the addiction is so severe, they actually can’t think clearly enough to seek help. Until the individual is ready or able to ask for help, recovery is highly unlikely. In some cases, friends or family may have to conduct an intervention to encourage the addict to go into treatment.

Before a rehabilitation program can be beneficial, the addict must first undergo detoxification to rid their body of the drug to eliminate the powerful cravings. This is an important aspect of recovery because the addict will not be able to focus on the rehabilitation process if they are still constantly craving the drug.

The second step in treating addiction is to treat the mind. An addict’s whole existence has been centered around the drug use. Most of their day has been spent seeking drugs, taking drugs, and finding money to support their habit. If the drug rehab is going to be successful, the patient will have to learn to change the way he or she reacts to daily stressful situations without taking drugs to get through them. Professional rehabilitation programs provide counseling, educational tools and behavior modification techniques to help the addict learn effective coping skills.

Another step in effective addiction treatment is self-discovery. This aspect of treatment allows the patient to explore the events leading up to the addiction and to change their belief systems that lead them into their current condition. After prolonged addiction, the addict will feel guilt and shame, and needs the right amount of support and encouragement to help rebuild this lost self-respect. The counselors at A Forever Recovery understand these feelings and are well-trained in methods that will uplift and motivate the addict toward a better life that is free from drugs and the oppression they bring.

Regardless of why someone began taking drugs, A Forever Recovery can tailor a program to address each of their specific needs to ensure successful recovery, but the first step in recovery comes when the addict picks up the phone and makes the call to enroll in a program.
